my future job

In the future I would like to work in something that I can help of directly to the people, I am interested in public problems and I would like to make the people happier. Sometimes I have thought that I could be academic, I think that it could be a good form to keep always learnt. I could imagine like someone that management a foundation or someone to produce knowledge I would like to do it. I prefer a quiet work, so I think that an office where I can to talk with other people, but I can have my own space too, it is ok for me. I would like to work in region but maybe it more difficult work in region because there are less opportunities, I would like to travel in my work, but just for Latin-American because I have a idea to produce knowledge from south is very important for   can study publics problems. I would like to be a specialist in gender or decentralization issues. I like politic too. I am interested in gender issues because I am feminist and in decentralization issues be

my favorite movie

The true is that I don´t used   to watch TV, so I don’t have a favorite TV program, I don’t like TV because I think that I enjoy other things more real than TV like walking with my mother, going to the party and talking about politics. But I can speak about my favorite movie, I love romantic movies but that makes impossible for me to choose one as my favorite one, so my favorite movie is Harry Potter. I follow the saga of Harry Potter since I was very little girl, this movie is about the story of a young magician, Harry, that his parents were murdered   by Voldemort   he is the antagonist of the story, so Harry goes to school of magic and witchcraft, Hogwarts. my best friends

I don´t have many friends but I have two friends, they are my best friends of the life, their names are carol and Jessica. I met Carol in school, we were in primary, we were classmate of kinder but then she change school, when we were classmates we weren’t friends so when we were in secondary we met again because we participated of the Constitución´s chorus, we used to talk and sing in the same string because we are contraltos. Now we are best friends with my other best friends too, we are a team of three best friends. Jessica is my friend of secondary too, I met her in the school but she was one year older than me, I don´t remember how she became my best friend, maybe because we were in the students union together. I am a friend of Jessi’s and carol’s since I was fourteen or fifteen now we are still friends. the best concert!

When I was a teenager I was a great fan of one direction, but they never came to Chile, with my friends used to imagine that we would go to England and we had a life together the boys of this band. In 2014, one direction came to Chile, but I couldn´t buy the ticket on time so I was so sad, my mother said to me that they were just a band but for me they were a world, my best friend and I were desperate, so we bought tickets in a resale website, these tickets never arrived, but one direction advertised another date.   So we bought tickets quickly but we didn´t have money so we could just buy in field. To go to the concert I had to travel to Santiago with my mother and my sister, I woke up so early because I had to stay in the line to enter all the day, I don´t remember what happened with my friends but I had to go alone because my mother got sick, I met a girl and her mother, they helped me and gave me food. English IV

My name is María Ignacia, I am nineteen year old and I study public administration at Universidad de Chile. About my weaknesses in English I can say that I am not good at speaking because I am shy, I don´t like speaking in English in public but I can do it if it is necessary. I prefer British English because I think that it is more beautiful and sometimes it is easier to understand than American English. Another difficult thing for me is the listening, I feel that the people speak so fast and many times there is a lot noise. About my strengths I think that I am good at writing, I love blogs because I can enjoy while I am doing it, and I like to read other blogs, If I read a book in English probably I would just be able to understand principal ideal but not details. In this class I hope to enjoy and learn because in my other English class I enjoyed a lot but I should say that come to class on Mondays is so difficult for me.

A good place to visit...

Sincerely, there are many countries that I would like to visit, when I was younger I had the opportunity to visit Europe (England and France) I liked it but I learnt that the way I see it, Latin America is more interesting. I would like to visit Uruguay because I am a great fan of “Pepe Mujica” and Latin America. In fact I don't know many things about this country but that makes it more interesting, I just know that the marihuana and abortion is legal. Uruguay is not a big country, it is a small piece of land. If I went to Uruguay I would like to visit Pepe Mujica´s farm and Montevideo, I think that I would like to visit  beaches and fair because in Uruguay I can taste different fruits or food and I would know new landscapes. I would like to study in Uruguay because time ago I met a teacher at “Universidad de la Republica de Uruguay” he is so intelligent, I think that maybe it will be a good opportunity to enter in the exchange program, also this year I have received that

I recommend this site

Maybe there are not many links related to public administration but there are many webs sites related to the state, but I think that the public administration is more than just state. My favorite web site about this career is http://www.nodoxxi.cl/ ; it is a think tank about all kind of public issues like democracy, feminism and social live in general. I visit the site often and I use to cite in my works, I love this site because I can learn and take many ideas about different topic and argue better my opinion. Also this site is free and you don´t need to pay for enter but if you want you can get a “cuaderno de coyuntura” or books that the academics of nodo XXI have written.           This web site can be useful for investigation works especially in the framework or when you need some topic to talk but you don´t know many issues; but I feel that nodo xxi isn´t   a   good site for people that doesn´t like politic or people that believe to market is good for the common good.
