English IV



My name is María Ignacia, I am nineteen year old and I study public administration at Universidad de Chile.

About my weaknesses in English I can say that I am not good at speaking because I am shy, I don´t like speaking in English in public but I can do it if it is necessary. I prefer British English because I think that it is more beautiful and sometimes it is easier to understand than American English. Another difficult thing for me is the listening, I feel that the people speak so fast and many times there is a lot noise.

About my strengths I think that I am good at writing, I love blogs because I can enjoy while I am doing it, and I like to read other blogs, If I read a book in English probably I would just be able to understand principal ideal but not details.

In this class I hope to enjoy and learn because in my other English class I enjoyed a lot but I should say that come to class on Mondays is so difficult for me.

my future job

In the future I would like to work in something that I can help of directly to the people, I am interested in public problems and I would like to make the people happier. Sometimes I have thought that I could be academic, I think that it could be a good form to keep always learnt. I could imagine like someone that management a foundation or someone to produce knowledge I would like to do it. I prefer a quiet work, so I think that an office where I can to talk with other people, but I can have my own space too, it is ok for me. I would like to work in region but maybe it more difficult work in region because there are less opportunities, I would like to travel in my work, but just for Latin-American because I have a idea to produce knowledge from south is very important for   can study publics problems. my favorite movie

The true is that I don´t used   to watch TV, so I don’t have a favorite TV program, I don’t like TV because I think that I enjoy other things more real than TV like walking with my mother, going to the party and talking about politics. But I can speak about my favorite movie, I love romantic movies but that makes impossible for me to choose one as my favorite one, so my favorite movie is Harry Potter. I follow the saga of Harry Potter since I was very little girl, this movie is about the story of a young magician, Harry, that his parents were murdered   by Voldemort   he is the antagonist of the story, so Harry goes to school of magic and witchcraft, Hogwarts. There he meets with his best friends Ron and Hermione.   They confront Voldemort together. In the saga of Harry Potter, my favorite movie of the saga is “Harry Potter y prisoner of Azkaban” because Sirius appears in this movie he is one of my favorite characters, he is the uncle of Harry Potter. 1D is on replay, they are on replay...

I love the music because my father is very good to play instruments, when I was a child my father used to sing for me when I go to sleep. Then in primary school I used to participate in the chorus of establishment, in the fact I went to Argentina because I participated in the chorus of my city. I don´t know if I have a kind of favorite singer or music, when I was a teenager I loved one direction I went to the concert when they come to Chile, I used to read novels about them. I have four of five albums. I really loved one direction. Now I use to listen them when I am sad because their music make me happy. Now I listen to Denise Rosenthal, Mon Laferte, Vicente Garcia and some reggaeton and trap, I love to sing and my roommates say that I am a good singer, I am not sure about that.
